Purpose: 

•   To manage the safe and efficient operation of the Playing Field.
•   To ensure compliance within relevant legislation. 
•   To develop proposals for the maintenance and improvement of the Playing Field.

Membership:

•   Membership shall consist of not less than three Councillors of Willoughton.
•   Members of the public are able and shall be encouraged to join this committee.
•   Only Councillors shall have voting rights.
•   The committee may agree membership without reference to the Parish Council.
•   A Chair shall be elected from Councillor members of the Committee.

Quorum:      

•   The quorum shall be three Councillor members.

Meetings:

•   The committee shall meet as required, and not less than once in any 12 month period, in any place to be determined by the Chair of the Playing Field Committee.
•   Minutes shall be presented to the next meeting of the Parish Council.
•   The Parish Council’s Code of Conduct and attendant regulations apply to this committee.

Terms of Reference:

•   The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Parish Council on all matters relating to the development and maintenance of the Playing Field.
•   The Committee will consider and recommend to the Parish Council how funds that are allocated or reserved for the benefit of the Playing Field should be managed or spent.
•   The Committee will seek approval from the Parish Council prior to any monies being expended or committed to spend.
•   The Committee will consider the needs of all the residents of Willoughton when planning developments of the playing field.
•   The Committee will consider and implement actions necessary to raise funds for the future development and maintenance of the Playing Field.
•   To undertake ad hoc activities relating to the playing fields as directed by the Parish Council.
